Course Objectives: | This course aims to provide psychology students with the fundamentals of sports psychology by covering the theoretical and applied aspects of sports psychology. The sports psychology course aims to provide an understanding of human behavior, mental processes and performance in the context of sports and exercise. |
Course Content: | The content of this course includes topics such as understanding the relationship between sports and psychology, specialization in the field of sports psychology and the development of professional practices, research methods in the field of sports psychology, factors affecting mental performance and mental development, the application of psychological techniques in sports, team dynamics, participation in sports in children and adolescents, and psychological disorders encountered in athletes. |
