Course Objectives: | It is to acquire the basic knowledge and practices necessary for meeting the surgical patient's care needs during the surgery, maintaining surgical asepsis and performing the surgical procedure in safe conditions, and acquiring information about the practices, equipment and technologies specific to frequently performed surgeries for each of the body systems. |
Course Content: | It includes the definition, aims and objectives of operating room nursing, management and organization of operating rooms, patient and environmental safety, infection control, systems-specific surgical interventions and the tools, equipment and technologies used in them. |
