| Psychology English Undergraduate Program is an education program corresponding to 4 academic years, 8 education periods, and a 240 ECTS course load. The main educational objectives of our psychology department are to gain critical thinking and scientific perspective, to examine the mental and behavioral processes of human beings with an interdisciplinary understanding in line with Professional, ethical rules, to have a good grasp of the conceptual and theoretical knowledge of psychology, to acquire the knowledge they have received in the academic or professional fields of study, with the awareness and responsibility required by the area. Their applications are to have the knowledge and skills to carry out scientific research and give graduates who are competent and adequately equipped in this direction. Faculty members specialized in subfields of psychology work in the department's academic staff. Our department supports its students to gain experience by doing internships in different institutions during their education. This process offers its students the opportunity to minor, participate in various activities related to the field, and participate in club activities. Our graduates can work as psychologists with the highest skills that can provide support to the individual and society in different fields of psychology (hospital, kindergarten, rehabilitation center, school, university, ministry). Students who want to increase their career options can specialize in sub-branches such as Clinical Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Forensic Psychology, and Health Psychology after their four-year psychology undergraduate education. |
