| The Undergraduate Program in Data Science and Analytics is an interdisciplinary program that aims to educate individuals equipped with the analytical knowledge and skills required by data-driven transformation. The program; focuses on developing students’ competencies in data-driven analysis and modeling by offering an integrated structure that combines statistics, econometrics, mathematics, computer science, and domain-specific applications. Within the scope of the program, students learn data collection, data preprocessing, data management, data analysis, machine learning, and data visualization processes both theoretically and practically. Throughout the educational process, programming and data management tools such as Python, R, EViews, and SQL are used effectively, and big data technologies along with contemporary analytical methods are integrated into the curriculum. The program aims not only to provide students with technical knowledge but also to develop their analytical thinking, problem-solving, critical evaluation, and decision-making skills. Students are trained to be capable of producing solutions to data-driven problems encountered across different sectors. In addition, the program supports students in gaining professional and social responsibility by covering contemporary topics such as ethics, data security, and sustainability. |
