Program Profili

The Master’s Program in Media and Communication Studies (with Thesis) approaches the interaction between media, culture, society, and technology within an interdisciplinary framework. The program emphasizes key areas such as media theory, sociology of communication, cultural studies, digital media analysis, media ethics, and public opinion research.
Through a combination of theoretical and practical courses, students engage with contemporary debates in media studies, enhance their critical thinking and analytical skills, and develop competencies for conducting scientific research. Each student is required to complete and defend a master’s thesis that demonstrates original academic contribution.
The language of instruction is Turkish, with support from English academic sources when necessary.
