Specific Admission Requirements

Students who want to enroll in the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts need to have a high school or equivalent diploma to have sufficient points by completing the exams and processes determined by ÖSYM and complying with the principles determined by YÖK. The type of score required for admission to the program is mentioned in the central exam. To get sufficient points from the (verbal) type or to have obtained sufficient facts from the DGS exam, to have the conditions of the horizontal transfer application. International students who want to study in programs are accepted within the framework of the success criteria determined within the Istanbul Galata University Foreign or Foreign Student Application, Admission, and Registration Directive determined by the Senate. Students who have started studying in the equivalent program at home or abroad can apply for a transfer. These students are evaluated privately before the academic year, considering the program conditions and success criteria.
